Fighting The Amphitheater In Seaside Park

Asser Levy Park, also known as Seaside Park sits between Brighton Beach and Coney Island, near the boardwalk. It may not remain there for long. Borough President Marty Markowitz wants to replace the green space in the middle of the park with a concert amphitheater. So far, Mayor Mike Bloomberg and Councilman Domenic Recchia have expressed their approval of the project.
